Julia (Judy) Allen Berry

Judy has had a wonderful life. God has given her some mountains to climb, including lossing loved ones she misses very much, but life has been good.

After high school I went to college at Sul Ross in Alpine,Tex. I met my husband my sophmore year and we married that summer. We lived on his family ranch in the Big Bend area in the summers and lived in Alpine during the school year. We had three children, Chip,Julie, and Claudie..This marriage ended in divorce..

I returned to Uvalde and my children and I lived on the Allen ranch with my grandmother..Loved every minute,we had a great time..I worked for Watkins Bridge Co.during those years...

I then met and married Henry Berry. He was the love of my life and a wonderful husband and father.

Henry lost his life to cancer at the early age of 49.. I still miss him.

After Henry passed away, I took over his Produce business. We grew, packed and shipped, watermelon, cabbage and cantaloupe. It was a real learning expierence.. I was in that business for 15 years.

Now, my two boys are in the business. My daughter ,Julie works for Chase, doing house closings. I am very proud of my children. They are loving, responsible, hard working children..Wonderful parents.. I also have 10 grandchilden..They are so much fun.

I have owned and worked several business:Henry J Berry Produce,"2A" Cattle Co.with my brother Claude.,La Boutique Dress Shop,Judy and Company, dress and beauty shop. My friend Glenda Ivy and I did some retail and Junior League shows around the country. We did alot of traveling. Did shows in Texas ,Oklahoma, Arkansas, Phoenix and the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

I am now retired and living in Concan. It is beautiful here.. I have had a wonderful life. God has given me a few mountains to climb. I have lost loved ones who I miss very much, but for the most part it has been good.
