Plans are underway for a UHS Reunion to be held June 10, 11 and 12, 2005.  Please mark your calendars and start planning to attend because this reunion is for ALL past students of UHS.  The reunion committee would welcome anyone who wants to volunteer for the enormous task of making this reunion a rousing success. Here is a tentative agenda:

	2:00PM-4:00	Performance at the Opera House (optional)
	5:00PM-6:00	USHAA Annual Meeting
		Individual Class Gatherings/Reunions
		Tour your old High School
		Tour the new Library
		Sightseeing, Shopping, Visiting
		Floating on the River	(Nueces or Frio?)
	7:00PM-12:00	Fiesta Event	(Dining, Dancing, Entertainment)

The committee would also welcome any suggestions you have for activities, places that will hold all of us, or anything else that will help with the planning. An undertaking of this magnitude will require lots of assistance so if you want to help, please let Beverly and Gary know. Check out who is already helping and join a committee!

It’s difficult to imagine
So many years have passed,
Since we all graduated
With members of our class.

But reunion time will be  here 
The time we will unite,
We hope that you will join us
To party on that night.

We’ll gather in Uvalde
A town that is the best,
No matter how you get there
You’ll be glad you came out west.

The date is set, the time is planned
Uvalde is  our place,
So happy If you   join us
We’ll be glad to see your face!

Second weekend  in June 2005  is the date
A Saturday at that,
We’ll be  glad if you can make  it
Be sure to help us plan it in chat.

Just think of all the good times
Which you can reminisce,
Of cars and classes, friends and dates
Remember who you kissed?

Remember our great football team?
So many games we won,
Of course, you say, most certainly
Because "Our Coyotes STILL are number one."

And then there was our Pep Squad
With such enthusiastic glee,
They'd jump and cheer and kick real high
Today that'd break our knee!

We’ll plan to eat
Some food that’s really great,
Our chef will guarantee
The best on our planned date.

And then, of course, the music
Big Band, Country, or Rock, you ask?
Well most will dance the night away
For some not quite a task!

So if you choose to not attend
Because of looks or age or time,
Remember you're only old
If you feel that time's a crime.

So while you go on reading this
